Hey, MEMER and Meme Lover today's blog is very interesting because in this blog we know about meme and their whole History with Mr.Aaglave.

An Internet meme, generally known simply as a meme(/ miːm/, MEEM), is an artistic item( similar to an idea, geste, or style) that's spread via the Internet, frequently through social media platforms. Inspired by the conception of memes proposed by Richard Dawkins in 1972, Internet memes can take colorful forms, similar to images, videos, GIFs, and colorful other viral sensations. Characteristics of memes include their vulnerability to parody, their use of intertextuality, their propagation in a viral pattern, and their elaboration over time.

The term" Internet meme" was formally proposed by Mike Godwin in 1993, with early memes including images and GIFs spread via messageboards, Usenet groups, and dispatch. With the rise of social media platforms similar to YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, memes have come more different and can spread snappily. More recent stripes include" moist" and surrealist memes, as well as short-form vids similar to those uploaded on Vine and TikTok.

Memes are considered an important part of Internet culture. They appear in a range of surroundings ( similar to marketing, finance, politics, social movements, religion, and healthcare), and the use of media from colourful sources can occasionally lead to issues with the brand.

Internet memes sow from the original conception of memes as an element of culture passed on from person to person; for the former, this spread occurs through online mediums similar to social media. Though the terms are related, Internet memes differ in that they're frequently short-lasting fashions, while traditional memes have their success determined by life. Internet memes are also seen as lower conceptually abstract compared to their traditional counterpart. There's no single format that memes must follow, and they can have colourful purposes. For illustration, they frequently serve as simply light entertainment, but can also be important tools for tone- expression, connection, social influence, and political subversion.

Two central attributes of Internet memes are creative reduplication and intertextuality. ( 4) The former refers to the tendency of a popular meme to come subject to parody and reproduction, which may do by belittlement or remix. Belittlement refers to the reduplication of a meme in a different setting to the original, for illustration reproduction of the" Charlie Bit My Cutlet" viral videotape by colourful individualities. Remix uses the original material of the meme but alters it in some way using technology-grounded manipulation( similar to Photoshop).

Intertextuality may be demonstrated through memes that combine different subjects or aspects of culture. For illustration, a meme may combine United States politician Mitt Romney's assertion of the expression" binders full of women" from a 2012 US presidential debate with the Korean pop song" Gangnam Style" by overlaying the textbook" My binders full of women exploded" onto a frame from Psy's music videotape where paper blows around him. This gives new meaning to the scene from the music videotape and blends the political and artistic aspects of two different nations.

Memes can involve in- jokes within online communities, which communicate exclusive artistic knowledge unknown to general druggies; through this, a collaborative group identity can be built. Other memes, in discrepancy, have broader artistic applicability and can be understood indeed by those outside the folklore one would associate with the meme.

A study by Michele Knobel and Colin Lankshear explored three characteristics of successful memes linked by Richard Dawkins( dedication, fecundity, and life) about Internet memes. It was set up that the dedication of internet memes was more understood as replicability, as memes, though conserving their substance, are frequently not transmitted entirely" complete"( due to remixing of some kind). Fecundity was supposed to be determined by three main characteristics humour(e.g. the comically restated videotape game line" All your base belongs to us"), intertextuality(e.g. the colourful pop culture- representing renditions of the Star Wars Kid viral videotape), and anomalous immediacy(e.g. the Bert is Evil miracle). Incipiently, a meme's life was set up to be sustained by the Internet itself.
